Said he, "Would you share with me dinner?"
said she, "Come inside"

The gray-haired lady forth to the table
Glasses two, drops of wine
she, "Here's a toast to everyone's Christmas
And especially and mine"

And it came to pass on Christmas evening
When all the doors shuttered tight
