Chasing The Sun

Branches block the
moon in the evening
you fall into my arms
The hum of the
engine on the highway
is like a monotone alarm
We drive til' the morning comes
and search for a
field to fall upon
We whistle every song we hear
and the radio plays along

We drive through Portland,
along the Ocean
Where the waves crash down

We're chasing the sun

The Birds all sing along

we hear them up in trees
