Chasing down a star

As he stood alone aloft his castle walls
He watched a star fall from the sky
He traced its light beyond the distant wooded hills
And then he watched it slowly die

But in an instant he had seen an amber glow
Beneath from where the star had fell
And in his desperate haste he rode off through the mist
And search of the light beyond the hills

As he rode on through the night he grew so tired
Thinking how could it have been so far
Through heavy mire and darkened forest he did ride
And sad dismay filled his eyes

Running down your dreams and chasing down your stars
It seems your live your life in a daze
And if you find the things your heart is searching for

Suddenly he sees a glow from high upon the moors
And then he knew his search was through
He got down off his stead and kneel and bowed his head
To the star that lay beneath his reach
