Canvas Skies

I found a flower
Hidden deep beneath the sea
Where the blinding dark consumes you
And it gets so hard to breathe
I got the message
Sent it straight into the sun
I don't think the sky's the limit
Cause the sky's what were above
Where are we now?
It's just painted lies
On black canvas skies, and I'm
Trying to leave
But there's no escaping here
