Broken Dream

I wake up early
I walk around all day
surrounded by people
who are surrounded by hate
misunderstanding everything they're shown
there's a fire burning
but it won't keep me warm

I looked in the night club
and I looked in the street
searching for someone who
was searching like me
I slipped in to the Sanctuary
I stood in the back
I said there's only one question
I was looking to ask

Where are you?
I'm in my broken dream
is it true? they just will not believe
there's no proof
this is the way it should be
somebody's watching
over this broken dream

they say all that glitters
has it's price
in this world of greet,
betrayal and lies
and the grinning false idols
with the glowing red eyes
they have burned down the mission
but the faith never died
