I kinda liked that ole pole shiner so i raised him a dog

But I had no dog

Well he'd follow me to school most day
And he'd waller and wait
Yeah I'd take him fishing with me
But he ate up all my

He was so slow that everywhere we go
We always got there
But all my troubles ended one day
When ole Bill Bill got grown
waited for us one day after school
And jumped us as we home
When the dust had and the fur stopped flying
Ole Bill sorta grinned at me
Cause screaming and the howlin dogs, was all there was to see
I guess they learned a good lesson
Cause they never bothered us that day
Those kids called us the two Ton terror
And out of our way
And they all to fancy schools
and the town got kinda dry of

See things are a lot different now
the best I've ever known
You see Bill Bill got a little lonesome and brought him a lady friend one
