She said, "I've seen you in before"
I said, "I've been a time or two"
She said, "Hello, my is Bobby Jo
Meet my sister Betty Lou"

"And we're both feeling kinda wild
the only cowboy in this place
And if you're up for a
I'll put a big smile on your face"

I said, "Girls, I ain't as good as I was
I got a few on me now
But there was a time, in my prime
I could really lay it down"

And if you some love tonight
I might have just enough
I as good as I once was
But I'm as good once as I was

I still hang out with my best friend
known him since we were kids at school
Last night he had a few
Got in a spot, hustlin' a game of pool

With a couple of redneck
One great big fat man
I David yell across the room
"Hey buddy, how 'bout a hand?"

I said, "Dave, I as good as I once was
My how the years flown
But was a time back in my prime
When I really hold my own"

"But if you wanna tonight
Guess those boys don't look all that
I as good as I once was
But I'm as good as I ever was"

I used to be hell on
Back when I was a man
Now my says, "You can't do this boy"
But my says, "Oh, yes you can"

I as good as I once was
That's just the cold truth
I still throw a few back, a little smack
When I'm feelin'

So you double dog dare me now
'Cause I'd to call your bluff
I ain't as good as I was
But I'm as good once as I was

May not be as I once was
But I'm as good as I ever was
