Making a lane from the gate to the plane
Do you think I could just crash here
Under the aluminium bell
In the jetway

Stepping out of the light
In his cap and his stripes
Can he tame this machine
And I'm counting out the miles I have crossed
And the places I've never seen

In a slow rotating gaze

There's a warm wind blowing on a wide yellow beach
It only we could breathe it in
Like the noblest gas
From the hole in the mask
That you wear on your skin
