A Worlds End

as the skies grow dark
as the clouds grow thicker
the energies gone
so the light bulbs flicker
the day we all dreaded has come to pass
so say your goodbyes
and make peace with your past
each minute flies by
could be our last
the concrete crumbles
as the glass cracks
nothing we built means anything now
as the earth itself begins to bow
giving up the struggle
tears itself apart
all the people flee
to where their cars are parked
but there's no where left
nowhere's safe
there is no rocket
to take us to space
so this is where it ends
looking up to saviors
is there anyone there
with the power to save us?

our little blue planet

after all our abuse

fate - bound us all to this
if only wed have missed
we wouldn't have to suffer this
