A letter to my Younger Self

Little girl, you ain't seen nothing yet
You sleep away from thorns and rest your head on
Pastel flower beds
And the world doesn't seem as small, no
It never caves in
You can climb every mountain, design every leaf and still be
Down up for tea at 3

Don't grow up
Just play pretend
Run and hide
Ignore the taunts that spill from them
Don't grow up
Just stay this little again

Sometimes being naive is
Better than knowing everything
