Recollections of my mind,
you passin' by my side.
So close, oh, so far,
unreachable desire.
And your magic eyes crossed with mine
and your smile will be enough to rest of night.

My foolish reward
means another chance
to get to know your ways
even only as a friend.
But don't get me wrong for this time
your love may be only a whim for me to have.

Holding the hope of a colorful sunset,
fading into those eyes.
So tired of yearning.
Finding the way to never forget
the stories we wrote yesterday,
thinking we were together.
And I'll keep my heart until the day,
when this empty dream finally ends.

Little things to embrace
to make mine and then,
let them fly away
to find relief again.
And I'll pretend when sundown comes
next day'll be the one our paths cross one more.
